Perfect ending to a great week.

Snuggled with Daddy and asleep by 6:20 tonight.

Call me crazy, but I loved this past week.  Some called it "Snowmageddon", and some called it "Snowpocalypse", but I called the 12+ inches of snow we got throughout the week...perfect.  School and work (for me) were cancelled.  We spent our days sledding, eating snow-cones (a lot), playing in the snow, building a snowman, going for walks, playing games, legos, crafting, and more. I am sad to see it come to an end.  Even more sad that I have to catch up on my cleaning and laundry...considering I didn't do any of it, at all, while we were snowed in.  Ugh.

Making air-popped popcorn for the first time - a little excited!

Snow Day!

What a wonderful way to spend the day...together with family!  We had plans to watch the Baltimore Playoff Game this morning while enjoying Court's famous omelettes...and we did, but not before we played in the snow.  All 6 inches of it!  And when it was over, and the Raven's were victorious, we headed back out to go sledding!  The lil ones loved it!
Emmett wanted to use the sled as a snowboard.  Allie didn't want to use one at all, instead opting for the ol' slide down on your belly option.  We did seem to wrangle the two of them to go down a handful of times together going over a jump for a little added excitement.  Shai and I even tried it a couple of times.
And then, back to the house...Emmett relaxing and enjoying being pulled in the sled by his dad and Allie walking due to the joyous fit she threw about sharing the sled!  I am pretty sure that the entire neighborhood was aware that Emmett was squishing her and that she was tired and hungry!
Good times!

Our Winter Wonderland

My little buddy!

lil Miss lovin' the snow

Sharing the sled...so far!

Allie's first run

E's first run - head first!  lil daredevil!

We went old school and tried a garbage can lid - to no avail!  Speaking of old school, did I mention that the actual sled we are using is pretty much an antique?
My sister and I got it from Santa 25-30 years ago...yes, I am that old.

The first run together

Who needs a sled anyway!?!

Going over a jump...eyes closed of course!

That's my girl!  Loving every minute!

Emmett loving it, with his eyes closed!

Humoring me for a pic - minutes before she was crying and throwing her fit

I asked the two of them for a picture together, and this is what I got!  Little hams!
